MEPS APPROVE EU PLASTIC BAG RESTRICTIONS



THE EUROPEAN Parliament today (Tuesday April 28) approved the long-debated proposal to limit the use of lightweight plastic bags within the European Union (EU). Backing an agreement struck with the EU Council of Ministers last November, the new EU directive will give member states two choices:
