A PLANNED ban on heavy goods vehicles carrying non-ferrous and ferrous minerals on a key Alpine motorway linking Germany with Italy has sparked urgent legal action from the European Commission. THE NEWLY re-named international Aquatic Animal Heath Standards Commission (formerly the Fish Diseases Commission) has warned of an outbreak of infectious haematopoietic necrosis amongst farmed trout in Austria.
