GREECE BREAKS EU LAW OVER LIGNITE

Greece has violated EU laws by maintaining rights that give the state-owned electricity company Public Power Corporation (PPC) quasi-exclusive access to lignite, the cheapest source of electricity in the country, said the European Commission.
