A REPORT from European Union (EU) power federation Eurelectric has said that when regulators or governments impose public service obligations under the 2003 electricity directive, utilities “should be granted fair compensation.”

THE GOVERNMENTS and international institutions of the European Union (EU) need to better prepare for cooperative responses to large-scale man-made disasters that inevitably cause damage on a cross-border scale, the European Environment Agency (EEA) has claimed.
