THE EUROPEAN Commission is offering a Euro 1 million-a-year contract for an energy company to provide expertise in promoting carbon capture and storage (CCS) plants and systems. Brussels' chosen partner will help it create a network of CCS demonstration projects across Europe: offering expertise, monitoring projects and organising events to spread information about this emerging technology.
