CHINESE sports footwear giant Yue Yuen (Industrial) Holdings Ltd has said that it expects to score around nine per cent sales growth this year as US consumers, the biggest buyers of athletics shoes, return to the shops in the improving economic climate. Philip Huang, director of investor relations said that last year's growth was around five per cent. Yue Yuen gets more than half its annual turnover from the US, making shoes for Adidas-Salomon, one of the major sponsors of this summer's World Cup.
