BY ALAN OSBORNYOUNG people in Britain are more than twice as likely to die in road accidents between 10.00 pm and 2.00 am Friday to Saturday and duringthe same hours Saturday to Sunday than at any other time of the weekaccording to figures released by the European Environmental Agency (EEA). Using figures provided by the European Commission, the EEA says that from 10.00 pm Friday night the average death rate on British roads for people aged between 18 and 25 is 14 an hour then 11 an hour until 1 am and then 13.
