WTO – SANITARY MEASURES

THE WTO has agreed detailed rules on helping poorer food exporting countries meet health rules demanded by rich importing states. Its sanitary and phytosanitary committee has agreed procedures allowing developing countries to challenge new rules, detailing how rich governments can help with technical assistance or extended compliance deadlines.
