BY KEITH NUTHALLAS European Union (EU) debates reforms to its working time rules designed to make it harder for Britain to opt-out of this EU legislation, an International Labour Organisation (ILO) report has claimed more Britons work excessive hours than other Europeans. A report said that 15.5% of UK citizens worked more than 50 hours a week, much higher than in other EU countries, where the proportion ranges from 1.4% in the Netherlands to 6.2% in Greece and Ireland.
