THE PREVALENT use of sunscreen since the 1980's could be responsible for some major health problems according to prominent US scientist. Dr John Cannell, a psychiatrist and prominent vitamin D advocate, is claiming flagging levels of vitamin D in pregnant women and young children could be the elusive factor explaining the rising rate of autism.
