BY KEITH NUTHALLVIETNAM has launched an ambitious reform of its judiciary, which it wants to make more efficient and independent to underpin its drive towards doubling its gross domestic product in the next 10 years through a thriving private business sector.The officially communist country is receiving US$1.85 million from the United Nations Development Programme to fund the US$5 million seven-year scheme, with Sweden offering US$1.76 million and Denmark US$460,000.
