BY MONICA DOBIEWORKING woman in the United States spend twice as much time doing household chores and caring for children as do working men, according to a US Department of Labour study which focused on how Americans spent their time outside of work. Whilst the average working man spends under 50 minutes caring for family members per day in which he works full-time, working women put in 90 minutes doing so and an additional one hour and 20 minutes doing housework, as opposed to men who manage less than 45 minutes.
