USA NAIL VARNISH BAN EU RAPEX ALERT LATVIA

EUROPEAN Commission consumer alert service RAPEX has warned an American-made mail varnish - branded Orly - has been banned in Latvia. It contains 3.2% dibutyl phthalate: toxic for reproductive systems and illegal under the European Union cosmetics directive. The yellow varnish is sold in a 7.5ml transparent glass bottle, with a white plastic cork and brush.
