THE US House of Representatives must prioritise a new bill designed to expedite the permitting process for the American rare earth mining sector a top priority, said US Congressman Paul Gosar. Last month [May], the House of Representatives' Natural Resources Committee passed the Natural Strategic and Critical Minerals Protection Act in a vote of 27-10 but committee members are still waiting for the bill to be introduced to the full House of Representatives.
