USA INCREASES TO 25% ADDITIONAL DUTIES ON CHINESE AUTO PARTS EXPORTS

THE US government has increased its existing 10% additional duties on imports of automotive parts, engines and chassis from China to 25% from today (May 10), citing a lack of progress on ongoing trade talks. These duties cover a wide range of China-made engines, chassis, and parts, although not assembled vehicles.
