USA CONTRABAND

THE US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested 15 members of two cigarette smuggling organisations that has allegedly trafficked about US$20 million (Pounds12 million) in contraband cigarettes from Virginia to California, Nevada and New York. Agents seized 1,000 cases of domestic and 51 cases of counterfeit cigarettes, worth over US$2 million, with the arrests being made in West Virginia and California.
