US WHISKEY EXPORTS IN FIRING LINE AS EU RELEASES RETALIATORY DUTY LIST OVER TRUMP METAL TARIFFS

THE EUROPEAN Commission has released a draft list of products that could be subject to retaliatory European Union (EU) safeguard duties, responding to American import duties on aluminium and steel imports. These include drinks, notably Bourbon and other American whiskey – so including Tennessee whiskey, such as Jack Daniels. Other products listed include cranberry juice, and orange juice.
