THE AMERICAN organic meat industry has welcomed a new US Department of Agriculture report that says livestock producers can source ample organic feed at acceptable prices, scotching - it says - claims that insufficient supplies are available to guarantee the integrity of their product. "This is a victory for organic farmers, the organic industry..." said the US Organic Trade Association.
