BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE RISK of millions of tonnes of uranium mining waste being swept by a landslide into the populous Fergana Valley river basin in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikstan has prompted the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to redouble efforts to prevent this tragedy.
