UNEP CALLS FOR MORE PHOSPHATE RECYCLING

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE UNITED Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has called for an increase in the extraction of phosphorous from waste solids and waste water to prevent environmental problems linked to fertiliser run-off and prepare for the day when phosphate rock reserves run out.
