Japan’s Kansai International Airport was closed for three days after being struck by Typhoon Jebi on Tuesday, September 4, with a reduced roster of 19 flights scheduled to take off on the following Friday (today). Peach Aviation, a local low-cost carrier, operated 17 flights throughout the day, while Japan Airlines had two take-offs.
