TURKMENISTAN COULD INCREASE TEXTILE AND COTTON SUPPLIES TO RUSSIAN TEXTILE AND CLOTHING SECTOR

Russia and Turkmenistan have discussed selling an increased level of textile and cotton products from this central Asian country on the Russian market, according to a report from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. At a high-level meeting in March between the chamber’s vice-president Alexander Rybakov, and the Turkmen ambassador to Russia, Berdymurad Redzhepov, the two countries raised the prospect of greater cotton exports.
