TURKEY TEXTILE AND GARMENT EXPORTS GREW FAST IN 2017 AND ARE STILL EXPANDING

Turkey’s textile exports appear to be moving ahead, with strong growth indicated in 2018, up 10.5% overall in March (2018) year-on-year, according to data from the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM). Exports of textiles and raw materials rose 13.8% year-on-year at the end of March 2018, to USD9.03 billion. Exports grew by 5.7% in January, in February up 5.4%, and in March up 4.9%, according to TİM.
