TROPICAL DEFORESTATION’S GLOBAL WARMING AFFECT MEASURED

AN AUSTRALIAN study from the Global Carbon Project and Marine and Atmospheric Research has warned that tropical deforestation causes 1.5 billion tons of carbon being released into the atmosphere each year, notably because the trees retain more carbon than they release into the atmosphere.
