TRANSPORT projects are a key focus of a major European Union (EU) investment programme announced last week – which is designed to inject EUR315 billion into the EU economy between 2015 and 2017. The plan, launched on Wednesday (Nov 26) by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB), is being rolled-out at break-neck speed in EU terms.
