TOURISM BOOM SPELLS WEALTH FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

BY KEITH NUTHALL TOURISM is continuing to boom in developing countries, boosting their economies, according to the latest figures from the UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). Its claims the number of individual international tourism journeys leapt by 6% in 2007 (compared to 2006) to 898 million visitors.
