BY PHILIP FINE A NEW study has revealed that American toddlers consume 30 per cent more calories than they require. The Feeding Infants & Toddlers Study, a telephone survey commissioned by baby-food maker Gerber Products Co., found that US children that are one-to-two-years-old consume an average of 1,220 calories. Children that age require about 950 calories per day.
