BY AHMAD PATHONI INDONESIA'S cigarette production has continued to increase in the past four years after a period of decline between 2000 and 2003, according to the country's industry ministry. Production rose 3.89% in 2008 from the previous year to 240 billion sticks, the ministry said. Kretek (NOTE - SPELLING IS CORRECT), a distinctive type of cigarettes made with a blend of tobacco, cloves and other flavours, made up 93% of the total output in 2008.
