TOBACCO CAMPAIGN LAUNCH

'HELP: For a Life Without Tobacco' will last until 2008 and involves direct actions by the Commission and paid-for advertising on television, posters and at cinemas. Health and consumer protection Commissioner Markos Kyprianou stressed under-30's would be the main target, saying: "Eight out of ten smokers start in their teenage years. Once hooked, it is a habit that takes many of them to an early grave". ...
