Airports within the 11 Russian host cities of the 2018 World Cup are in the final stages of major reconstruction programmes helping them serve this major international sporting event. Moscow’s three airports - Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo – will be the main ports of entry into Russia for the tournament. Together they are expected to service 16,000 passengers per hour during the World Cup, which will be held next June and July (2018).
