Take taobao.com, Asia's largest online shopping website resembling eBay, as an example. A simple search for J'Adore, a perfume by Dior of Paris-based LVMH (Moët Hennessy.Louis Vuitton) Group, results in thousands of bottles priced at as low as Chinese Yuan Renminbi CNY25 (US dollar USD3.7) for 50ml of scent, compared with CNY520 (USD76.8) for the authentic version.
