THE GLOBAL smart coatings sector is expected to record a year-on-year average annual gain in revenue of 31.5% over the next five years, with the market projected to reach USD11.68 billion by 2024 - compared to USD 885.5 million in 2015. The projections come from Ohio, USA-based global research and development organisation Battelle, which says this growth is down to countless benefits these coatings offer across a range of sectors.
