The Internet can be described as an iceberg: the websites and services most people use on a regular basis are the tip sticking out of the water, and there’s an entire other, much larger world submerged below. This underwater portion generally goes by two names – the deep web and the dark net. Often confused as the same entity, these two terms, in fact, refer to different things.
