TALISMAN Energy Inc. has announced that it has made a substantial oil discovery in Trinidad, which could give the Canadian oil giant another profitable operations area. The company said that a 14-foot section of a 933-foot hydrocarbon column had produced 3,000 barrels-a-day in testing. The area also contains natural gas reserves.
