Called ECSAINE Prima, it is produced via a non-woven fabric processing technology, and combines a highly resistant polyurethane fabric with an ultra-thin surface fibre. The resulting artificial leather is as thin as 0.55 mm and weighs only 170g/m sq.root, according to reports in Japan's Company News Reports.
