SWEDISH AIRPORT TEAMS UP WITH AIRLINES TO BOOST BIOFUEL USE
January 1st, 2019KALMAR Öland Airport, Sweden, is working with airlines SAS and BRA to ensure all flights between the regional airport, that serves south-east Sweden, and the capital Stockholm, run on fuels that comprise at least 5% biofuels. The airport has agreed to fund half the additional fuel costs created by this goal, with the airlines splitting the other 50%.
