BP and Shell have joined 10 key players in the automobile and electricity industries in releasing a long-term strategy for promoting sustainable energy. 'Mobility 2030: Meeting the Challenges to Sustainability' includes commitments on reducing emissions and energy consumption. It says 2030 is the earliest transport emissions could cease being the largest greenhouse gas source.
