STEEL DUTIES – USA

EUROPEAN Union (EU) retailers will not now face duties of 13-30 per cent being slapped on US exports of clothing and food, (including fruits and vegetables, orange and grapefruit juices), in retaliation for protective American steel duties. The move follows the announcement by the Bush administration that it was scrapping temporary 'safeguard' steel tariffs.
