A SRI Lanka soap manufacturer has been given a global prize for the quality of his product seven months after the award was announced, because he had been unable to secure a visa to visit London for three days to receive it. Mohammed Sharif, of Pathumas Perfumery Industries, Bandarawela, has now received an International Quality Crown Award from the international selection committee of the Business Initiative Directions (BID) quality group.
