BY KEITH NUTHALLA row has erupted in Sri Lanka after students in schools in the capital, Colombo, have been given free bookmarks in the shape of a beer bottle and carrying ribbons in the colours of a leading beer. Several hundred of the bookmarks, designed to promote beer brand awareness among boys and young men, have been distributed at school gates and main junctions near schools and are reported to be freely circulating among students.Ananda College in Colombo said it would launch an awareness campaign on what it calls an 'illegal promotion' after the school ...
