IN a move expected to modernise the sale and marketing of South African wool, the National Wool Growers Association of South Africa has announced that it will investigate adopting the New Zealand Product Advancement (PAC) wool classification system in the future. It is believed to be more accurate than South Africa's existing practices, for example sorting on-site fibre diameter measurements.
