SOUTH AFRICA ACCOUNTANTS CODE UPDATED WITH NEW ETHICS RULES

THE SOUTH African Institute of Chartered Accountants Code of Professional Conduct (SAICA Code) has been updated to include new ethics requirements and guidance helping accountants dealing with non-compliance with laws and regulations (NOCLAR). These rules cover all professional accountants working in South Africa and define NOCLAR as any omission or commission of a rule breach, intentional or unintentional, committed by an accountant, client or practice.
