SOCIAL LANDLORDS

THE EUROPEAN Commission is taking the UK to the European Court of Justice because the relationship between "registered social landlords" - such as housing associations - and the Housing Corporation is not governed by European Union (EU) public procurement rules. Brussels thinks that agreements struck between the two should be subject to international open tenders.
