BY MONICA DOBIESNAPPLE has begun installing vending machines in New York City public buildings after a New York Supreme Court judge refused to block a deal worth US$126 million between the soft drinks company and the city of New York. The deal announced last September gave Snapple exclusive rights to sell water, iced tea and chocolate drinks via vending machined in all city public buildings as well as the right to advertise on city property using the city's name.
