SLOVENIA LOAN

THE EUROPEAN Bank for Reconstruction and Development is debating plans to loan Euro 45 million to Slovenian local banks who would on-lend the money to private and public projects reducing water pollution flowing into the country's portion of the Danube basin. The Global Environment Facility will support the plan with a US$ 9.9 million grant.
