SAUDI FIRM INVESTS IN PAKISTAN GAS PLANT WITH HELP OF IFC

A SAUDI Arabia firm committed to developing energy projects in the Middle East, north Africa and south Asia is investing in a Pakistan 585-megawatt gas-fired combined cycle power project with the help of the World Bank's International Finance Corporation. The IFC will invest US$50 million in Riyadh-based Creative Energy Resources, which aims to supply power to challenging markets.
