THE FOUNDER and CEO of the successful Russian Standard Vodka company has welcomed the planned vodka taxation increases announced by the Russian government. In a rare interview with Russian language media Roustam Tariko told the Vedomosti newspaper: "What the government is doing is absolutely correct. In addition to regulating the minimum price, it is licensing, taxing and controlling production."
