The Russian government is to draft fresh state measures to support domestic producers of wool and flax fibres.Acting on direction from the office of President Vladimir Putin, the Russian ministry of industry and trade will boost Russian wool production through the creation of special trading centres that will buy wool from farmers at prices that are high enough to encourage production.
