THE RUSSIAN financial conglomerate AFK Sistema, owned by billionaire Vladimir Evtushenkov, plans to expand into the country’s textile manufacturing business through the acquisition of a controlling stake in Vologda Textile, one of Russia’s largest and oldest textile producers.
