RUSSIA PLANS TO INCREASE TIN PRODUCTION BY 10 TIMES

RUSSIA plans to become one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of tin in the coming years, expected to take place through the investment of up to USD250 million developing some of the country’s largest tin fields. According to officials at Russia’s energy ministry, some of these funds will be provided directly by the state, with the remainder allocated by private investors, who will be responsible for the implementation of the project.
